At Tannum Fitness Centre, we cater to the needs of everyone from beginners to experienced gym users who want to maintain or improve their health and fitness levels.
Our gym features an excellent range and amount of quality, basic as well as out-of-the-ordinary equipment and accessories, plenty of space, generous operating hours and prices. We offer a comprehensive range of exercise equipment and accessories, including:

  • Cardio boxers and Boxing columns
  • Fit balls & steps
  • Power ropes, skipping ropes, climbing ropes
  • Jacobs ladder
  • Suspension trainers (TRX)
  • Various benches, cages, bars and handles

We offer free basic, or specifically structured programs, depending on your needs and budget. There are various levels and terms of membership to choose from, with no joining or cancellation fee. We work in association with a qualified Personal Trainer who is available for consultation by appointment.

For a fun way to get and/or stay fit, experience our regular gym, or some of our other activities and services. Come in and experience the friendly, carefree environment, and be surprised at what we have to offer!!

Squash Centre


We have one official-sized squash court available for hire. It is open seven days a week and bookings are recommended. Squash rackets are also available for hire. Squash balls are available for hire or purchase. Racketball and rebound volleyball can also be played on the squash court and equipment for these activities is also available for hire. Bubble Footy is also played on the squash court.


Classes will be reintroduced in September. Presently being considered are Boxing, Spin and Circuit classes.

Our PlayGym is a creative mix of learning, fitness, positive parenting and fun! Our program is designed in keeping with the play-to-learn philosophy to develop coordination skills, agility, flexibility, and music & rhythm appreciation, making learning and exercise enjoyable. Our extensive range of equipment is colourful and kid-sized, especially suited to a young child’s developmental needs.

Class activities include: basic tumbling skills; balance, flexibility, agility and rhythm development; appreciation of music, movement and fitness; group activities; games and physical activity.

The ultimate aim of the program is to aid in the stimulation and development of a child’s visual, sensory, cognitive and motor efficiency.

Classes will recommence later in 2020 and are normally run on a Tuesday and/or Thursday morning, depending on demand. Enquiries are most welcome.
